Hi everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to share a little about who I am — both as a person and as someone who deeply cares about our community here in Brantford.
First and foremost, I am a proud mother of two amazing boys who grew up playing hockey and baseball. Supporting them through every stage of life has been one of my greatest joys, and being a mother has taught me patience, compassion, resilience, and the importance of always showing up for the people you love.
I have lived in Brantford for over 30 years and have spent much of that time giving back to the community through coaching hockey and baseball, volunteering with cadet organizations, serving on parent councils, and supporting local youth programs and activities.
For the past 16 years, I have worked in security, including with the City of Brantford. Through that work, I have met people from all walks of life and gained firsthand understanding of the challenges many individuals and families face. Those experiences strengthened my belief that our community needs both compassion and accountability, and that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported.
I also hold several certificates, diplomas, and degrees that have helped build my knowledge in public safety, leadership, communication, administration, budgeting, and community issues.
I believe in fiscal responsibility, supporting local businesses, advocating for families and seniors, and making sure residents feel heard. More than anything, I believe in kindness, community, and bringing people together.
I may not have all the answers, but I am someone who genuinely cares, listens, works hard, and wants the very best for Brantford and the people who call it home.
